Taikoo Li, Beijing comprises two retail sites with a hotel in between Our objective was to emphasize the connection between the sites, and to reflect the human aspect of the consumer interaction. We took advantage of the dominant yellow line in client’s brand to form a sharp visual thread running through the sites, connecting areas and activities. We took asymmetrical forms to soften edges and create an overall youthful dynamic feel. Internally we created both triangular and quadrangular ceiling signs to ensure maximum visibility from all sides whilst echoing the dynamic of the floor signs.
